Walking Tours General Information
Come and join us on one of our three walking tour times throughout the course of the day. We do know that there are free walking tours that operate in the city. We unfortunately cannot offer free tous as we run our business legitimately adhering to all German tax laws as well as pay our staff so they don’t need to worry about their next meal. Seems like a fair trade for a great quality tour.
Our tour starts in Marienplatz at our walking tour meeting point where one of our professionally trained & entertaining tour guides will meet the group and go through some significant points throughout Munich’s vast amount of history.
Throughout our walking tour we cover off almost all of the old town historical sights, covering some Third Reich history as well as the other 1000 years of history of this spectacular city and have a quick stop into the English Gardens (we can’t miss the world famous Munich river surfing). Make sure you bring your camera’s to take a few snaps of some of the gorgeous architecture this city has to offer.
Both our The Rise and Shine and Midday Stroll tours are exactly the same. They run roughly two hours. Our Twilight and a Beer walking tour is a little different whereas we drink a beer on tour! Open alcohol is completely legal in Munich and what better way to explore the beer drinking capital of the world with a beautiful locally brewed lager to quench your thirst. This comedy tour is more of a PG-16 (nothing worse than you would hear on HBO) rated tour as we aim to have this tour as a bit more eccentric. For this tour we do require advanced booking so we need to know how many crisp cold beers to bring around.
Whatever tour you choose with us, we know it will be a great time!!
Please check the tour times under each individual tour section.
Please wear comfortable shoes, and check the weather report as we do go rain or shine. (If you have booked the tour in advance, we do offer to change your time to any other time slot as we always have space available. If you have booked for the morning or afternoon tour, you would need to pay the price difference for the Twilight Tour)
